Pastor Sonjanique Guns

Pastor, Ministry Fellowships

Executive Administrator to the Bishop

Lady Sonjanique accepted Christ as her personal savior and became active in ministry at an early age, serving in various choirs and theatrical productions. She presently leads the Ladies of Destiny Women’s Ministry, serves as Associate Pastor of Fellowships, while serving as Executive Assistant and strong intercessor to her husband in ministry. Her heartbeat is for the restoration of broken women. Her testimony of victim to victor has been a blessing to many. It is an encouragement and testament of God’s faithfulness to those who genuinely seek to please Him. You can often hear her proclaiming that the battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and rulers of the darkness. She encourages the people of God to war in the spirit, ushering in complete victory in every area of their lives.

After 15 years in ministry leadership and the call of God on her life, Lady Guns was ordained as Pastor of Ministry Fellowships on January 12, 2020, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Jacksonville, under the leadership of her Senior Pastor and husband, Bishop John E. Guns.

She is happily married to the love of her life, Bishop John E. Guns and they are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters; Alexis(Claude, II), Daijah, and Tayler. The joys of their lives are their amazing grandsons, Zion and Claude III “Tre”.
